BP in subdirectory – member section not working

    I’ve got my BP installed in a sub-directory (“/members”). Everything seems to be working pretty well on the home side – but not the entire members section. Clicking on anything under the “My Account” tab gives a Page Not Found error. It must have something to do with the location of the buddypress-member directory, but I’ve tried all of the obvious locations – inside wp-content, as well as in the root, in and out of the member-themes directory, etc.

    I read here that there were issues with subdirectories in the past – is that still the case or has it been resolved? I’m running MU 2.7 and the BP combo pack – should I upgrade something from the trunk? Thanks!

    Update: I tried a subdomain and got a different problem. I could see the member profile, but it wouldn’t let me login. Whenever I tried to login the page would just refresh and still be logged out.

    Anyone get subdomains/subdirectories working?

    This WPMU changeset has broken things. Working on a fix.

    There may be no solution to this until after the next beta/final of WPMU 2.7.

    For now it is possible to fix this problem by removing lines 129-141 inclusive in wpmu-settings.php.

    I tried that solution with the subdirectory (haven’t tried with the subdomain) and the behavior is the same as in my OP (no change). I also tried installing the 1619 version of wpmu-settings.php (via Trent’s link) without any luck. It’s entirely possible that I’m doing something wrong but I think I followed the directions.

    Any word on this issue? I’m still having the same subdomain/subdirectory issues. Is anyone running BP this way? Thanks

    Perhaps your members/ path is conflicting with the rewrite in the htaccess.
