The admin menu bar is completely useless in r571 if a user is using IE7. The admin menu bar dropdown menus stay open. Avatar image don’t show in either a widget like “Who’s Online” or in the Blog Authors dropdown. Users complain that the Avatar upload final stage (the 150×150 crop and save part) is broke. No button to push to ‘crop and save’. Works like a charm in FF. I’ve duplicated everything except the ‘crop and save’ button problem. But I believe ’em.

I thought it might be some javascript that runs on my home theme. That ain’t it. On a stock default mu theme it has the same problems. Admin bar is trash.

I thought it might be a problem with permissions on the css files that underlay the admin bar on the server. Nope. 755 all the way and it does the same thing on a windows server.

I’m running r571 of bp. This is a *stock* installation, right out of the SVN box. No mods running. Completely new upload of all the bp goodies. I don’t want to befuddle anyone with technical terms but in my opinion IE sucks.
