$bp->is_directory

I have updated buddypress 1.0.3 to the current version 1.2.5.2
Changed The theme, removed and installed all plugins and so on…
Everything went fine. All is running like it should.Just plugins, which use $bp->is_directory are broken.
After playing around, I found, there is no is_directory in the $bp Array any more.
How could this happen? I hope anyone can give me an answer for this. ;-?On my fresh Install of 1.2.5.2 I don’t have this problem…
