[Resolved] BP login widget

WORDPRESS 4.7.2
BUDDYPRESS 2.7.4

I hope I am posting this in the right place. If not, I apologize.

I am using the BP Login widget on seven different sites.

Every page that this widget is on now says NOT SECURE when I’m viewing it in Chrome.

I understand this is a new Chrome thing.

Will this be addressed in a coming update?

This has nothing to do with BuddyPress, but it has to do with adding HTTPS support to your WordPress website.

You have to either pay to get a SSL certificate or use the Let’s Encrypt service to get a free SSL certificate:
https://letsencrypt.org/

Then, configure WordPress to use SSL and this issue should be fixed.

Thanks, but I have an active SSL certificate. It is correctly configured. The problem is that the widget submits to http not https.

Did you configure WordPress to use SSL?

I had not reconfigured .htaccess.
