[Resolved] bp make more than 6 same version of one group

    Hi,

    I’m running WP 3.5.1/BP 1.7.2 (hosting service is Ovh perso) with Flix BuddyPress Ready Team Blogging theme. French by the way so if there is some other frenchy here who can help me in my language it would be fantastic 😉

    When I create a group, BP creates 3 to 6 or even more “entries” for the group. When I go to the groups page (and to the dashboard) I can see 6 links to the same group. I can delete it only on the admin panel groups/select all/delete. If I select 4 of the 5 news groups, then bp seems to recreate all those “virtual” groups.
    I have search on google and don’t find people who have the same problem.

    First thing to do always is start testing by disabling any plugins running which are not necessary to WP/BP installation especially any caching plugins, after that change to a theme such as twentytwelve to test against to determine whether your issue is theme related plugin related or an actual BP bug (much less likely)

    Ignore that codex page it’s technical developer information and unless you are writing functions or plugins not a concern (although something may be firing that hook multiple times but if so it’s theme or plugin doing that)

    Oh, Thank you !
    Sometimes when you experiment problems you just don’t remember to do simples and rationals things like that…

    The problem comes from the default plugin “DB Cache Reloaded Fix”. I have desactivated all plugin when I activate only “DB Cache” at the first step of a group creation it create 2 “entries” of the futur group. When is desactivate groups works fine.

    Do you know what caching plugin do this thing ? It’s important to have one, or I can build my site without it ?

    I’ve search on the web and install “hyper cache” instead of the default plugin. Seems to works fine now. Thank you !
