    I am having a problem with BP overlapping my sidebar. I installed BuddyPress Template Pack and i am on step 3, however i do not know how to go upon with the fix alignment. Could someone help me with this coding? Or link me to some place to help resolve my issue?

    Thank you

    Download Firefox and install firebug as an add-on.

    Other than that, we can’t do anything with a bunch of html/php when its most likely a css problem.

    Place an example link.

    The sidebar on the right is gone, and the member list is scattered.

    Meanwhile i will try firebug out.

    Thanks

    find bp.css and add a margin-bottom to the ul.item-list div.item (i had the same problem) and fixed it: http://agnarchy.com/members

    ul.item-list div.item {
    margin-left: 65px;
    margin-bottom: 40px;
    }

    I’m probably overlooking… but where do I find the bp.css file? My bp currently looks like this: http://www.bikesbeijing.com/forums

    Dudeski, the bp.css file is located in wp-content/plugins/bp-template-pack .

    and David Z, was adding the bottom margin the solution to move the sidebar from BELOW to content to the SIDE, where it should be? because I’m having the same problem, I tried that and it didn’t work. My sidebar is still at the bottom. I don’t know if its a css problem, but it sure seems like that and I don’t know how to fix it.

    as u can see, it now ends the same way as the page.php does…but I don’t know if there are other problems to this html code or not. Can anybody help me out here and check if the problem is with this code?
    btw my site is http://writerselysium.thepantheonsociety.com . Opening the pages and posts shows the sidebar, but when opening a bp page, such as /members , the sidebar is BELOW the content.

    Woops, ok now I feel like a noob. I jsut pasted the codes…and they appeared in a formatted form. How do I stop from that to happen, and jsut apste them as it is? =S

    Ok I used pastebin. Here is the link to the code I posted first: http://pastebin.com/eLmbSMVC

    And here is the second code: http://pastebin.com/JrUjRzCK

    Hi Shaheershahid – I’m no expert in CSS but I can usually figure my way out of a problem with enough trial and error.

    For me, adding the margin-bottom resolved the issue of staggered/overlapping avatars in the member directory.

    the sidebar itself was being forced to the bottom of my page(s) because the width of the bp “container” div was too wide and so it was unable to render the sidebar properly without forcing it below the “container”. I look at your site right now and on the Register page the sidebar appears on the right. I think it looks like you have fixed the issue on your site, correct?

    hey guys I hope this forum is still fresh enough to post in.

    Im running into the same problem as both shaheershahid, and David Z. My sidebar is beneath everything.
    as you can see here http://thinksharebuild.com/members/Matt/activity/just-me/

    Im not sure which files I need to pastebin. But I would GLADLY do so.

    Hi peeps,

    I am having the same problems after installing buddypress. My widgets and sign-in are at the bottem of the page.
    I tried to adapt the BP.css file but that didnt solve anything.
    Can somebody take a look at the site and tell me how to fix this?
    My knowledge of html and css is at beginner-level.

    Thank you!
