BP Profile Fields, Activity Stream not working. (redirects home) how to do a clean reinstall?

I’m having trouble with my buddypress install. I think this is the right forum for these issues. Basically I cannot edit add, or view profile fields. When clicking profile fields in the admin panel it will not allow me to add groups. Also when clicking Activity or entering the URL it simply redirects to the homepage. The only buddypress options that seems to work AT ALL are the forums.
To me it seems like an install error because these errors happen when using the default buddypress theme. How would I do a clean reinstall of Buddypress? I’ve tried once and it saved the data from the last buddypress install, how do I work around this?
