Buddy Press and WPMU on addon domain

Hi I have been able to install buddypress and WPMU on an addon domain.

Everything is working fine. I am able to create blogs also from the admin panel, however am unable to access those. They redirect to my main domain.

    the main domain is http://www.mbapursuit.com

    the addon domain is http://bigmba.com

the test blog that I have created is http://test1.bigmba.com and http://test2.bigmba.com. These blogs redirect me to he homepage of mbapursuit.com.

My host allows running a wpmu on shared hosting and http://iitdreams.com is also hosted and working perfectly on a shared hosting on the same host.

Any solutions for accessing the blogs.

Howdy. This is a wpmu and linux configuration issue. Turning off the support light because it’s not a bp issue. This will get bumped and perhaps somebody with experience in this area will see the question.

Thanks guys.. I guess WPMU is not meant for addon domains. I moved bimba to a new plan.

If you use cPanel, you should add a subdomain called “*” to your add-on domain and point it to the same folder as the add-on domain.
