Buddy Press Changes Theme

    Hello
I am using BuddyPress with Salutation theme from Parallelus. After I install I found that BuddyPress pages change the theme to original theme layout instead of the layout design that I modified. How can I change BuddyPress pages to make them look like rest of the pages?
    Thanks,
    Myo

What sort of changes did you make?

I changed the logo from their logo and background color to our logo and background color (which is maroon) and also added a slideshow in the header section. What it now shows is their original background color (although our logo and menus are still present), and the slideshow is absent.

Sounds like a theme thing, I’m not an expert in theme things yet but my first port of call would be my theme developer to see if there were settings you could change to change that page. There’s probably at worst case a bit of custom CSS that you can add to your theme. Whilst BuddyPress may be calling that content it’s the theme that is delivering it and obviously a page still configured with the old settings.

I don’t have any problems with other pages though. If I can go BuddyPress pages, I can make those changes.

No, not exactly ! BP pages are not ordinary wp pages.

Do you use a child theme ? If so, read Salutation doc first, then check the child theme and sse if it is updated for BP 2.7 new template

As Salutation is a premium theme, we can’t help you much more with this (small) issue. Afaik you have to ask on the theme support.
