Hey guys,

I’ve finally given up hope on trying to find an answer for myself since I’ve been searching for over a month now. For some reason my avatars fail to crop every time I upload them. It allows me to upload them and shows them while I’m cropping the image and as soon as I hit crop it tells me that there was an issue cropping the avatar and that it failed. I’m using WP User Avatar but it fails even with it deactivated and I’m also using Amazon S3 but it also fails either way.

The strangest thing is that I set up a duplicate test site and it worked just fine on there and I hadn’t made any changes at all.

I’m using BuddyPress 1.9.2 and WordPress 3.8.1. I just deactivated every plugin on my site aside from BuddyPress and the avatar uploads still failed. I’ve talked to my host about it and according to them, everything seems to be set up correctly on their end.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’ve already exhausted pretty much every one of my ideas trying to get this to work.
