BuddyPress Group Review Won’t Work with new WP

    Hey all,
    I am having a difficult time allowing my users to rate and comment on a particular group in this plugin – http://buddypress.org/community/groups/bp-group-reviews/

    My users can not rate the star system, but can give a text review of the particular group. When they hit submit, it will give them an error because they have not rated the system with the stars.

    I have multiple WP sites and it looks like it is just not compatible with the newest WordPress (it works with later versions of WP). Not sure if the Author of the plugin has addressed this issue. Has anyone come up with a solution?

    The plugin works fine on all my installations of the latest WordPress.

    If your users are not able to leave a star rating, it is likely that you are having a Javascript conflict. Are you using a custom theme? Try reverting to the BuddyPress Default theme to see if the stars work that way. If so, then maybe I it someone else can help you to troubleshoot the theme.

    I should make it an option in the future for admins to turn off the part of the plugin that requires star ratings.
