BuddyPress into GasBuddy?

I was wondering if BuddyPress has the ability to turn into a comparative (like GasBuddy) community site where there are users but the whole concept is to find the best price in a local vivinity? I just wanted to do something similar. It’d be nice if anyone had any ideas about this.

Anything is possible if you can code. No off-the-shelf solutions for this. There are a couple location/map plugins.
