BuddyPress.org

This is my first submission to the Forum, and I hope I’m doing this correctly.

I am using BuddyPress to register members of my website. I am not a developer, and I don’t know coding, but I’ve worked with WordPress a lot. This is the first time I have used BuddyPress.

When I set it up several months ago, registered members could upload and change member photos/avatars in the member profile section, as well as upload or change a cover image. Within the last several days, the member photos that had been uploaded no longer show up and the photo/avatar upload fields are gone, although the “Change Cover image” prompt is still visible. Also, the member photos I uploaded to my WordPress media library are also gone. I am using WordPress 4.6.1 and Buddypress 2.6.2. Any help would be appreciated to get that functionality back.
