BuddyPress not visible in extensions to activate!

Hi,

I just installed BuddyPress 1.1.2 on Word Press Mu 2.8.4 (copied the whole folder in plugins, but Buddypress is nowhere to be found under Extensions to be activated.

Did I miss something? What did I do wrong?

heres what I would do… delete what you have added for buddypress in the plugins menu… in you backend… go to plugins >>add new… search for buddypress…. and install it from there…. this method cuts down on errors….
