buddypress photo upload

Ok I am a newbie,I did get buddypress setup and working,including the forum,I can post a new topic but I cant upload a photo to it.There are NO options but to SAVE message,cant unline,bold ect.I have installed 2 plugins,but niether allow me to do anything but save.I am not sure if I am installing the plugins to the buddypress directory or to the wordpress.Any help would be appreciate.Oh I can go to account and upload and save a photo.

Ok well I like the second one,works great the first tho when I use it it says cant install, error on line 97. Thanks for the help

Ok downloaded and re-installed. 1 Last question if the size is over 1024 X 768 it like dies.Is there a way to increase the size but have it resize to 1024. Thanks for the help.

You need to ask the plugin’s author which you can do on https://buddypress.org/community/groups/buddypress-group-forum-extras/
