BuddyPress.org

I have two sites running on a Multisite installation. example.com: running on a regular wordpress theme, and example.com/groups running a BuddyPress theme. Both independent themes are working except one problem. example.com/groups that has BuddyPress does not have the ability to create Fourmn pages, activity streams etc. and the pages useful for BuddyPress even though the theme is running and everything else works. For some reason when I go to create those pages for BuddyPress I can only create them in the main Multisite super admin area and it will only let me create pages using my example.com theme and dumps the pages that are supposed to go to Buddypress example.com/groups in example.com instead.

any help is really needed here.
