hello.

we receiving a little bit more traffic this week and the site is either very slow (overloaded/ or goes down)

we run buddypress 1.5 on the site  with w3 total cache

the server admin restarts mysql / server to get it back to normal..

However this query  is called often and take 8-10 secs to process (and server admin suggested it is the culprit)

SELECT COUNT(DISTINCT u.ID) FROM wp_users u LEFT JOIN wp_usermeta um ON um.user_id = u.ID LEFT JOIN

is there anyway to fix it? at least temporarily?
