Hi Guys,

I’m currently looking for someone to develop a theme compatible with BP and just wanted to clarify something….that is, does a BP theme/child theme over-ride any WP theme or will I need to get them to develop both a WP and BP theme to keep consistency across the site?? Just not entirely sure in my mind where the WP theme begins and where BP takes over…so to speak. If I’ve missed any documentation that covers this, apologies!

Also, don’t wanna get shot down for this but if anyone knows a *top-class* BP coder, then please get in touch!

If you want to use an existing WP theme, use the BP Template Pack plugin to add BP functionality to your WP theme:

I can do it, not all themes work with that plugin.
