Bumping Activity Feed Content Solution

Just sharing in case this might be helpful. I (like many) had done much fruitless searching for a way to bump activity feed items that had new comments. This isn’t ideal, but seemed the only way to stay appraised of new comments on older posts and make these visible to users.
@r-a-y ‘s “BuddyPress – Show Individual Activity Comments Separately” plugin works great for this. It not only adds new activity items for comments on the activity feed, but also for blog comments (in my case, a variety of custom post type comments!).The new activity feed items say “(user) posted a new activity comment (x time ago)”
In the case of comments on the blog or custom post types, the items say “(user) commented on the post (title) (x time ago)”
Additionally, each item includes a button “View Conversation”, taking you directly to the original activity item OR post on which the comment was made.
