Bumping activity stream content to top after interactions?

Hi guys!
I know there was once a plugin that did this, but nothing ever got implemented into core and that plugin has not been updated in 2 years!
Are there any other plugins/ plans to update BP so that content with new activity based interactions get bumped to the top of the stream?
People are used to this on Facebook and the more comments I’m getting on items in my stream, the more I’m thinking this would be very useful!
