Can BuddyPress do this?

    Hi
    I wish to create a site where people can submit things, say just an idea for example, and people can rate that item. Required functionality would be:

    1) Logged-in user to submit an idea
    2) Logged-in users to rate idea
    3) Anyone to search for existing ideas
    4) Logged-In users to leave comments under idea
    5) Submitter of ideas to have an overall rating that takes into account all their ratings over all ideas
    6) Submitter status based in rating (e.g. 0 to 100 = Noob, 100 to 200 = Beginner etc.)

    Can someone please advise which points I could achieve without having to write custom code? I have been looking at Drupal for some time now and came across BuddyPress quite by accident. It looks very promising,

    I don’t know of anything that will, at the moment, allow for the kind of “rating” you’re asking for here. I assume you’d use BP activity as your ‘ideas’, though you could also have a custom post type (which would require coding).
