Hi I’m a WordPress developer and have a option on a job. Here’s part of the brief

– All of the content will be publicly visible on the site, but in order to have the ability to upload or comment on content, users will need to register/create a profile page and login

– Users can search by keyword for a member profile

So I guess all the client wants is the ability for community members to be able to create a profile, and then you have to login to post or comment, and then the ability for members to able to search for and view other profiles with info about that person.

I have no experience with Buddypress at all so would this be an easy out-of-the-box thing to implement or require a lot of extra plugins/customisation etc
