Can only send invites to friends.

I just made a group and can only send invites to my “friends”.

I read the post the other day where the whole friends concept is possibly going away.

I think I should be able to invite anyone to my group, not just “friends”. Should I make this an official request somewhere or will this be one of the things taken care of with the overall friends issue.

Hey Matt,

there is a related ticket on trac (https://trac.buddypress.org/ticket/1498) and a free plugin called “Invite Anyone” by Boone Gorges (https://buddypress.org/forums/topic/invite-anyone)

I haven’t tested it yet, but probably gonna do it soon, because i agree with you on this issue.
