Can receive password reset emails but not registration emails

    I have problems receiving the activation link upon registration. I receive password reset emails though so I believe that it can’t be a problem with php mail() of my host right? Anyone an answer to that?

    I already tried using the WP SMTP Plugin but it always tells me that it was unable to connect to the smtp host. I am using Google Apps and I connected it with my email client (Apple Mail) and it works properly.

    I’d appreciate any hints or ideas on how to solve this issue. Its quite important … haha :)
