Can we customize the group creation functionality by adding a seperate plugin ??

Hi can anyone help me out in this requirement…

By default, buddypress supports group creation process, I want to add separate plugin which overrides the default functions and works with my new customized steps and controls?

Is it possible to override default buddypress functions like bp-groups.php, bp-groups/bp-groups-classes.php, bp-groups/bp-groups-template.php

No, you can’t override those functions, but they all have actions and filters which you should be able to use to handle their outputs.

You mean to say that we need to use the respective actions & filters over there and change the functionality (Customize to our wish) ?
