Can we have ajax message fading away after the message delivered?

In most of cases that come with default BP functions, users move away to next step. So, the message doesn’t matter. But as we use BP core message for other custom functions, in some case, users remain on the same page after clicked something. Then, it comes the needs to remove the ajax message.
