Cannot Activate 1.1

I have tried activating 1.1 and am getting a 500 internal error.

I am using WPMU. This is a new install.

After several tries, sometimes I get 500 internal server error.

Installing from the plugins in the admin console simply won’t work.

I am using 1and1.

I cannot activate please help

First of all, please do not cross post. Your issue will be addressed in time.

Secondly, did you search the forums before posting? This issue has been addressed several times in the past. It is an issue with 1and1 and how they set up hosting. It is not a BuddyPress-specific issue.
