Can’t Access Profile

When in the BuddyPress support site I cannot access the “Edit Profile.” When I click on it I get the following message: “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” Trying to access it in part because I’m not getting any notifications to topics I’ve posted even though I have the “Notify me of follow-up replies via email.”

Hope someone might have the answer to both problems. Thanks!

Is that just here on the BuddyPress site?

Instead of clicking directly on the user avatar, please try hovering over the avatar and then navigating to “Profile” followed by “Edit”. This may help. As for notifications, I’m not certain. Please check your email once.

HI Pooja…thanks for your help. Your suggestion worked though it’s strange that the “Edit Profile” link right below the avatar doesn’t work. Also, quite strange that your response is the first time I’ve received an notification. Hopefully whatever was stopping that is fixed. Really appreciate you taking the time to answer the question.
