If an update is available, yes you will see an update notice.
Your login issue is most likely related to your theme or some other plugin or custom code.
Check if it is a theme issue by momentarily switching to a WP theme like 2019.
I have tried changing the theme, but then the button disappears so i can’t test, I’m not aware of any custom code, the clients isn’t tech savy and won’t be able to tell us. I’ve been in contact with WP bakery’s support which is the page builder and they are saying that the issue is something to do with buddy press, how do i go about getting support from Buddy press ?
You need to be logged out to see the button and test registration.
Right but i can’t log in at all though, shouldn’t the login button just work ?
PS also its now my site and have no idea how the registration works ?
