Can't see text in the "Cancel Friendship'" Button

I am using the latest version of Wp and BP on the Maya shop theme.
For some reason all of the other buttons are just fine but the “Cancel friendship” button doesn’t display the text. I look at it in inspector and it shows the html just fine with “cancel friendship text exactly where it should be. I checked the bp-friends-template and in the case ‘is_friend’ everything looks fine but the button looks as if it didn’t have any text in it whatsoever.
Please please please help.
