Change RSS output

Is there a way to change the RSS output? I have a community site and I would like to make prettier RSS feeds for each member’s activity. For the time being, each item on the feed has the following format:
    TITLE
` posted an [update in the group ] / [update]: `
    CONTENT
` posted an [update in the group ] / [update]: `

I don’t know about you, but I don’t like this double content thing nor the unnecessary extra words. I would prefer to have something like this:
    TITLE
    `: `
    CONTENT

Any ideas? I’ve looked for a plugin or custom rss generators but I had no luck.

You basically have to unhook how BuddyPress creates feeds and create your own files and display methods.

Here’s a thread from awhile back detailing how to do this for the group activity feed:

You should be able to duplicate this for all the other feeds as well.

I have not been able to get the filter to work on the Feeds on the activity page. I have GenesisConnect and the executive theme.

A second problem I am unable to edit the acrivity page, when I do it comes up blank. I put a little preamble at the top I would like to change.

They told me at Genesis Connect to post here.
