Change start page to ‘Activity’ instead of ‘Home’

    Is there a way to make the ‘Activity’ page as startpage on my Buddypress site? I’ve been looking around in the settings and the plugins, but can’t find a solution.

    wp-admin: settings.. reading.. front page displays.. activity stream

    Sounds very easy. But I can’t find this under wp-admin.settings.reading
    Any idea why!? I’m using WP 3.0.1 newest BP and MU enabled on WP

    Is BP activated and running OK? Which theme are you using?

    Also, paste a grab of your wp-admin.settings.reading screen

    I know now what’s wrong on my side. I didn’t had any pages in my setup. After creating a “Test” page, I had the option to choose this one as the default start page.

    But unfortunately this is not the solution I’m looking for.
    I would like to set Activity as my start page, and this one can not be selected.

    Any other idea!?

    Which theme? Is BP activated and working? Activity appears as option with a BuddyPress theme

    default theme, and BP is active.
    Thanks, now I’m able to select activity as start page. It was just necessary to create a “dummy” page… to bring this option up!
