The default filter that shows up on my Members Directory page is the “Last Active” filter. However, I want the default FILTER to be “Alphabetical.” I have seen a number of responses here in the Support Form that suggest add “&type=’Alphabetical'” to the bp_has_members(), such as
<?php if ( bp_has_members( bp_ajax_querystring( 'members' ). '&type=alphabetical' ) ) : ?>, however, that causes all the FILTERS, to include “Last Active” to then SORT things alphabetically, but I only want the default FILTER to be Alphabetical, not the default SORT to be alphabetical because it causes the “Last Active” filter to sort alphabetically but it should still sort by activity date…if that makes sense.
