Change Username to Display Name on Member Profile Page?

Hi – On the Buddypress Member Profile page it current shows the Username (@Username) at the top…but, I dont exactly want the username to be seen because its what I use to login with…is there a way that instead of the Username, that it shows the display name/nick name on the profile page?…I chose a display name, and it works throughout the site – except for within the Member Profile page.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

This is what you are looking for:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-display-name/

It will allow you to enforce a certain display name change throughout your site… Users won’t be able to override it either.

Here is a similar plugin that encourages the use of real names instead of login words…..
