how did you get the Forum tab to be the default tab when someone enters a Group?

I followed these instructions (http://themekraft.com/customize-profile-and-group-menus-in-buddypress/) to make the Forum tab the landing place for groups on here (http://willowbilliards.com/groups/general-discussion-forum/), but it didnt work.

Basically, I created this file ( /wp-content/plugins/bp-custom.php) that contains this code: http://pastebin.com/Mx1zfvy4.

seems kind of odd to me that the bp-custom.php file would be in the general plugins directly, but that’s what the instructions said.

please advise. thanks!
