Hi,

I’m trying to implement some anti-spam measures and one recommendation is to change the default BP registration slug.

I’m not sure I fully understand this process. I gather that I need to define the new slug but then what? I presumed I would need to copy register.php to match the new slug.

However, I have tried putting the definition in wp-config.php (before the end definitions section) but nothing happened. I’ve created bp-custom.php in the root of the plugins folder and this doesn’t have any effect either. I’m presuming either the registration slug will break or automatically change if the definition is successfully registered.

So far, I can still go to mydomain.com/register and get the BP registration form.

I’m using BP 1.7
