Commenting in a group doesn’t update time of most recent activity

Hi there,
I find that new updates to a group (someone joining, a brand new activity post) update the ‘last active’ date on a group, but a comment on a post in the group doesn’t update the last active timestamp.
Is this intended behavior?Is there a way to get comments on existing activity to update the last active timestamp in a group?
