Confict between Yoast´s WordPress SEO and buddypress

If I enable Yoast´s WordPress SEO plugin http://yoast.com/wordpress/seo/, anything buddypress related is vanished. Just shows background image.
Tried editing my header.php per @bowromir suggestion here http://bp-tricks.com/snippets/making-buddypress-compatible-with-the-wordpress-seo-plugin-from-yoast/ As I am using a child theme of Hybrid framework, did not find `
` but ` ` so I replaced the beforementiones statement with

` with no luck. Any clues ?

Mmmm weird.. BuddyPress and WordPress SEO just work fine both enabled. The trick I posted is to offer full compatibility for WP SEO URL rewriting. If you get completely blank BuddyPress pages something is really messed up. I did not know Hybrid worked with BuddyPress but I think the error is to be found there. Try enabling BuddyPress and WP SEO and switch to the default buddypress theme. If it still gives you empty pages then reinstall both WP SEO and BP.
