Connect Extended Profile to WP Standard Profile
-
Hi there,
i am using buddypress and the wordpress plugin “Social Login” from oneAll.
Both work pretty good, but unfortunately not together. What i am trying to do is to get the users social data (like email adress etc) in buddypress’ extended user profile fields (custom fields) and not in the wordpress standard user profile.
The questions i have:
1. (i was also asking this question on the plugin support site) Can i control where the social login data is stored (meaning in a specific custom field)
2. If not, what i unfortunately assume, can i tell buddypress to fill its extended profile fields with the standard profile data? at least for the important stuff like e-mail.The Background of this is i want the user to be able to edit his profile in the frontend. But as you know, extended profile needs to be used for that. after the user connects with a social account (while extended profiles are active) and wants to edit his profile, he cannot see the data like his email adress or website since it is stored in the wp standard profile.
Thanks for your help
Daniel
