connectivity among multiple buddypress sites

    Is it possible to create multiple buddypress sites which a single person could access with a single login without having to login at each site? For example I have a company with different departments each with a specific focus (front page) which I want to allow individuals to access their respective areas but also have the opportunity to visit other departments with permission. Am I asking too much?

    a cheap/simple method: if they share the same db – you could setup each wordpress instance to the same custom_user_tables
