Contributors Publishing Posts

I’m not sure if this is a WP issue or BP issue. I have all users set as contributors, but some users are able to publish directly to the site. Most end up as “pending.”
I’m using WordPress MU 2.9.2. with BP 1.2.3 – I’m wary of upgrading either or both b/c I don’t know if my theme can take it. Would upgrading even fix the problem?

Eh, since this isn’t really a problem with the buddypress software… upgrading bp is not mandatory. But it is encouraged. Upgrading bp fixes bugs for you, and your users you didn’t even know existed!
Especially if your still at 1.2.3. Eeek!Upgrading your wp is more important, and I would strongly recommend you do, as it could fix your issue ^^ above, as well as security updates and other critical things.
