Converting a WP plugin to work in Activity

A good person on the WP forums wrote up a plugin for us that alters the output of oEmbed to add a wmode parameter to videos to “stick” them to the page layer go they don’t obscure div tags like the BuddyBar/Admin Bar, Arrowchat etc., but he didn’t account for the fact that (and this terminology is alien to me, as I am noob @ php) the Activity Stream content isn’t under the the_content handle.

So I’m wondering if someone here could look at this beautiful piece of software and see if they could tailor it to act in Buddypress.

WHAT IT DOES: In short this takes the regular oEmbed output and replaces “?feature=oembed” at the end of the Youtube embed URL with “?wmode=transparent” and adds “wmbed=”Opaque”” into the iFrame tag.

You just need to filter the activity content instead of the_content

    `add_filter(‘bp_get_activity_content_body’,’mh_youtube_wmode’);`
