Cookies and BuddyPress
-
How and for what does BuddyPress us cookies for.
One of my corporate clients ran IBM Security AppScan against a WordPress install with BuddyPress and it is returning low-risk security warning for Client-Side (JavaScript) Cookie References.
Specifically, it cited this file:
buddypress/bp-core/js/jquery-cookie.min.js/Is this used for login functionality or something else as well? The security guy wants it removed, but is there a safe way to remove it, and how much is going to break if we do?
