Couple of Issues!?!

Hi, I just started a new buddy press website and have it pretty much all set up but have a couple of issues.
– Can I have it so everyone adds posts to the main blog?
– I registered as a regular user would and logged in, but I don’t have the “Post” dashboard menu and can’t create a post to add to the main blog – even though I am a contributor.
– On the buddybar on top when I go to My Blogs > Contributor > New Post it goes to the forum instead of the New Blog Post. Why is this?
