Create a social network website for a community

    Hello,
    I have to create a social network website where a community can stay, publish and share content (videos, ophotos), have a personal profile that anyone can see, a public and a personal timeline.
    People suggested to me to do that by using DRUPAL. But… due the fact that i am very familiar with wordpress, I’d like to know if BUDDYPRESS is what i need to create a community website based on WordPress.
    And I’d like to see some social network7community website created with buddyPress.

    Second part of the question.
    If the answer to my first question is “YES, IT IS POSSIBLE TO CREATE A COMMUNITY WITH BUDDYPRESS2… My second question will be: is there a payd/premium version that includes professional SUPPORT? Or I have to do all by myself?

    There is no premium version of BuddyPress.
    You can hire a developer or do it yourself.
    You may be interested in BuddyBoss Platform – a fork created by a commercial company.
