Create Businesses Based on what Member inputs in 'Business Field'

Create Business Profiles that are separate from Member Profiles.
But match Members to their ‘Work Place’ based on what they put input in the ‘Work Place’ Field.

So that you can find a member by searching within a Business Group or Business Profile.

Is the above possible with BuddyPress?

Basically a business directory that allows each business to have members.

members are the heart of BuddyPress.
So let members be members and use groups for business. And the business directory is build

Thanks so much dan. For some reason I didn’t get notification that someone responded.
I checked out BioWebSpin and don’t quite see how they used ‘groups’ and turned them into something else, for example a business.
Can you help me out?

ok. one more question.
I see how they created businesses from groups and allow members to join ‘the hub’ which is essentially a group.

But i can’t see the members that are a part of the ‘hub’.
Is that possible with buddypress?
