Create Notification – Function, Action…

    Hallo,

    i want to create a new Notification if the User-role was Changed, is this Possible ?
    Are there any Functions, or Actions?
    Or do you know a good API for BuddyPress, where all Function, Actions.. are listed ?

    Can some tell me please how i can create a new Notification ?
    I want a new Notification with something like “%USERNAME% your user group was changed, you can now download games”
    How can i do this ?
