Creating a Custom Post Type for every User on their Profile

Hello,
I have a problem where i got stuck.
On the User profiles I want to have nothing but an “about me” page and a page called “projects”.
The users should be able to create projects they are working on and the profile should show a list off all their projects. Users can click on the projects and see the content (text and images) and comment them. Users should also be able to write each other messages and add others as friends.Thats all. No activity stream, favorites and such.
How can I do that the easiest way?
