On my client site, I have two different types of membership.

Free membership – this membership will redirect them to a page to pay for membership that will grant access to additional documents etc that’s secure for members only. Once the paid membership has been approved and funds received, the person will be an official member.

Paid membership – this membership will have access to all secure documents etc.

My question is how do I create two different welcome messages when the free person logins and one when the paid membership has logged in. I would really like to have a brief welcome message. On the free membership welcome page, I would like to remind them that in order to gain access additional information, they must submit payment. As far as the paid membership, I would like to provide a welcome message, plus access to all of the additional documents.

I have tried to figure this out, maybe I am making this too complicated.
