CSS Issue! Hard coded images/logo have disappeared in the header!

I have a site and all of a sudden the images in the header that are hard coded disappeared. I right click to open the images in a new window and they show up so I know the URLs are correct. I have also turned off all the plugins – nothing resolved – so no seeming conflicts. This only happens in IE and all looks fine in Chrome and Firefox

Any body have any ideas about this?
This happened in a split second and I am not sure what to do..PLEASE HELP!
PS I am not a programmer so speak in laymen please. I can hack and code a little HTML that’s it.
